To say Chris Ault is ecstatic about the new Nevada football coach would be an understatement.
Ault who coached the Wolf Pack over three different stints, starting in 1976, raved about Ken Wilson, the 27th head football coach at Nevada.
Wilson's hiring was officially announced on Friday at Mackay Stadium.
Ault said Wilson is more than just a good friend, he is like family.
Wilson joined Ault's staff in 1989. At Friday's introductory press conference at Mackay Stadium, Wilson pointed out that he made $9,000 a year that first season at Nevada, but he was happy for the opportunity.
