The Wolf Pack football team has a short week to prepare for Air Force's unique rushing attack, which isn’t a great combination.
“It’s not the one you want to draw up for sure, but we’ve been watching them all summer and our coaches have been preparing for this,” Nevada coach Jay Norvell said of the Falcons’ triple-option offense. “We’ve got to do a really good job zeroing in on them and shifting gears.”
The Wolf Pack (1-6, 1-2 MW) has basically eliminated one day of practice – the Tuesday session – as it has a condensed week before playing one of the Mountain West's more difficult offenses to stop.
