Former Wolf Pack quarterback Tyler Stewart is headed north of the border.
Stewart was one of three international players to sign with the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday. Stewart played for the Wolf Pack from 2013-16 and was a two-year starter.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Stewart completed 59 percent of his passes for 3,550 yards, 27 touchdowns and 12 interceptions at Nevada. He was 11-11 as a starter, including a win in the 2015 Arizona Bowl. He rushed for 438 yards and six touchdowns in college.
Stewart's Wolf Pack career ended early when he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury following a 16-yard run against Wyoming in October 2016.
