Not everyone gets to realize their childhood dreams, but one of Drew Scolari's became reality Thursday.
Scolari, who plays football and baseball for Bishop Manogue, signed to play football for Nevada in a ceremony at Manogue.
Scolari, the grandson of longtime Wolf Pack head coach Chris Ault, has thrown for more than 4,300 yards and has 52 touchdown passes in his 27 career games with the Miners.
The field at Mackay Stadium is named for Ault, who was on hand for Thursday's ceremony.
"It's home and it's family and 'Home Means Nevada,' and that's super-important to me and I'm really excited to go," Scolari said.
