A year ago, Wolf Pack baseball coach T.J. Bruce invited a host of alumni of the program to dinner in downtown Reno so he could pitch his vision for the future of Peccole Park, the team's aging home.
Bruce knew the facility was in need of an face-lift and he unfolded the plans he had for the ballpark before telling the alumni the program needed their financial support to make his dream a reality.
After dinner, Bruce and Don Weir, the owner of Reno Dodge and a Wolf Pack baseball player from 1967-69, went to the restaurant's bar.
