D.J. Fenner is the longest-tenured player on the Nevada basketball team, the team's only fourth-year senior, one of just two holdovers from the David Carter era, the old sage of the Wolf Pack.
His hair isn’t graying just yet. After all, he’s still a college kid.
“But my hairline is receding,” Fenner joked. “I’m telling you. A little bit every day.”
Fenner has seen the ups and downs like no other member of the Wolf Pack basketball team, which unofficially begins its season Saturday when it plays a private scrimmage at Stanford.
Fenner was a freshman on the Wolf Pack’s 2013-14 team that finished a program-best third in the Mountain West.
