It’s not quite the same set-up as last season, but the Nevada men's basketball team is returning this week to a “series” format.
The Wolf Pack, coming off its best second half performance of the season in an 85-72 win at Utah State Friday, plays San Jose State twice this week.
It’s not quite the same as last season’s two-games-in-two-nights format the Mountain West used in an effort to get games played during the height of the pandemic.
Instead, the Pack and the Spartans will play once at each site, beginning Tuesday (8 p.m.) at Lawlor Events Center.
