It took longer than its fans might have wanted, but Colorado State was finally able to show Tuesday night why it is nationally ranked.
The No. 22 Rams overcame a seven-point deficit at halftime and used a key second-half surge to get past Nevada, 77-66, in a Mountain West basketball game at Moby Arena.
The Rams improved to 16-1 overall and 6-1 in MW games. Nevada dropped to 9-8, 3-3 and added to its eight-game run of alternating wins with losses.
CSU guards David Roddy (18 points), Isaiah Stevens (16), and Chandler Jacobs (14) combined to score 48 of the Rams’ 77 points.
