SAN JOSE, Calif. – Marqueze Coleman didn’t think he’d suit up against San Jose State on Wednesday night.
The Wolf Pack senior point guard flew from Reno to Los Angeles on Monday to be with his mother, who underwent heart surgery on Tuesday. Coleman didn’t go to sleep until 2 a.m. Wednesday and when he fell asleep he didn’t think he’d have it in him to play later that day with his mom in a recovery room.
But when Coleman woke up Wednesday morning and spoke with his father, he had a change of heart.
