The Wolf Pack hasn’t played in front of a sellout crowd at Mackay Stadium too often in coach Brian Polian’s three seasons at Nevada, doing so only twice, a 2013 loss to UNLV and 2014 loss to Boise State.
So, while Polian is excited by the notion of a sellout Saturday against UNLV – around 2,300 tickets remained as of Wednesday afternoon – he doesn’t want any of the “goofball stuff” that sometimes comes along with the Nevada-UNLV rivalry game and has asked fans to be on their best behavior.
“I hope we’ll have a full house, a very energetic and enthusiastic crowd,” Polian said.
