Chris Ault was the head coach of the Nevada football team for 28 memorable seasons.
The Hall of Fame coach accomplished almost everything in his career, but he didn’t do one thing: post a perfect season at the college or pro level.
Well, at age 69, he checked that off his list Saturday, doing so in Italy of all places.
Ault, in his first season coaching the Milano Rhinos of the Italian Football League, capped a perfect season in the Italian Bowl in Cesena, Italy, with a 44-18 drubbing of the Bolzano Giants in the league's title game.
