LAS VEGAS – As the buzzer sounded and the ball fell through the hoop, Nevada’s T Moe dropped her head, bent at the waist and put her hands on her knees as if the wind was sucker-punched out of her.
The Wolf Pack women’s basketball team had pushed forth on an incredible ride at this week's Mountain West Tournament and put itself on the brink of a miracle championship as well as the school’s first NCAA Tournament berth.
