One week after a huge early-game run buried the Wolf Pack in a loss to New Mexico in Albuquerque, another massive spurt early against Fresno State dropped Nevada into too large of a hole to dig out of.
On a rainy Wednesday night in Fresno, it was doom and gloom for the Wolf Pack inside the Save Mart Center. The Bulldogs opened the game on a 30-5 run, with Nevada faltering on offense and defense, as Fresno State bounced back from a poor effort four days early to drill the Wolf Pack, 85-63, in front of 5,315 fans.
