Get all those bowling references, puns, and GIFS ready – the Nevada football team will be playing in a 2018 bowl game.
In a thoroughly dominating performance, the Wolf Pack scored the game’s first 49 points in a 49-10 win over Colorado State on Saturday night at Mackay Stadium. The win moved Nevada to 6-4 overall, 4-2 in Mountain West games, and gave the Wolf Pack the necessary six wins for a postseason berth.
Nevada, coming off a 3-9 season, even has an outside shot at winning or sharing the MW’s West Division title, although the Wolf Pack would need outside help for that to happen.
