Boise State edged the Nevada women’s basketball team, 64-61, in overtime Tuesday at Lawlor Events Center in the Wolf Pack’s final home game of the season.
The teams traded points back and forth in the final three minutes of regulation. With 3:12 on the clock, freshman Riana Everidge hit a game-tying three, which also helped the rookie establish a career-high. Each team exchanged a two-point bucket on the next two possessions that kept the game tied at 57.
As the clock ticked to under two minutes, junior Stephanie Schmid drove to the basket and drew a foul on her layup attempt.
