From the day the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl announced its participants were the Nevada Wolf Pack and Colorado State Rams, the betting line on the game was pretty much set in cement.
“The line hasn’t moved that much,” said Terry Cox, director of Peppermill Reno Race and Sportsbook. “It’s getting action both ways. It seems to be a pretty good number.”
Oddsmakers placed Colorado State, 7-5, as a 3 ½-point favorite over the Wolf Pack, 6-6, in Tuesday’s 4:30 p.m. game between the two Mountain West Conference rivals. That number dropped to 3 in the ensuing hours and has been there pretty much ever since.
