The Nevada women’s basketball team closed its stay at the Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu with a 69-58 loss to Loyola Marymount on Sunday.
The Wolf Pack (0-4) was led for a third straight game by senior Nyasha LeSure, who scored 15 points. Sophomore Halie Bergman added 11 points, the first double-digit game of her career.
LMU improved to 1-3.
Nevada now returns to Reno to host the annual Nugget Classic this week. The Wolf Pack will face Utah Valley on Friday (4 p.m.) and Middle Tennessee State on Saturday (4 p.m.) Alabama rounds out the tournament field.
