The Wolf Pack baseball program, already off to its first NCAA regional tournament in 21 years, got more good news Thursday when infielder Tyler Bosetti was named as an All-American.
Bosetti was named to Collegiate Baseball’s second-team list. It was Nevada’s first All-American honor since Grant Fennell was honored on two different lists in 2018, along with Joshua Zamora and Jake Jackson — both still playing for Nevada — were named as Freshman All-Americans.
Bosetti, a redshirt junior, has started all 43 games for the Wolf Pack this year, setting single-season career-highs in batting average (.337), hits (63), home runs (11), RBI (47) and runs scored (46).
