Austin Corbett’s goal at this week's Senior Bowl is all about earning respect, and not just for himself.
The Reed High and Wolf Pack alum – the first Nevada player to be invited to the most prestigious pre-draft showcase game since Joel Bitonio in 2014 – not only wants to earn respect for himself, he wants to do the same for Nevada football, which has seen its pipeline to the NFL dry up in recent seasons.
“I’m really just looking to make people know who I am,” Corbett said via phone from Southern California last week where he’s training for the draft.
