Nevada coach Jay Norvell discusses the 2018 season and Saturday's Arizona Bowl versus Arkansas State. Duke Ritenhouse, dritenhouse@rgj.com
It’s come down to this for the Nevada football team.
Twelve games, seven wins, some big highs (Air Force, San Diego State), some major lows (Vanderbilt, UNLV), a Mountain West player of the year, inspired leadership from its core group of seniors — all of that is in the books.
What’s left is the Arizona Bowl on Saturday against Arkansas State. The Wolf Pack, playing in its first bowl since 2015, will be looking for a program-defining eighth win and to enter the off-season on a high note.
