TUCSON, Ariz. -- News and notes from Nevada's season-ending win over Arkansas State at the Arizona Bowl:
* Nevada’s six leading wideouts entering Saturday’s game combined for one reception.
Kaleb Fossum had that one catch, a 9-yarder in the second quarter, before leaving the game due to injury. None of the other top wide receivers entering the Arizona Bowl — Romeo Doubs, Elijah Cooks, Brendan O’Leary-Orange and Daiyan Henley — had a reception against the Red Wolves (along with McLane Mannix, who was no longer with the team).
