The players on Nevada men's basketball coach Steve Alford's court this week ranged in height from 4 feet on tiptoes to over 7 feet tall.
It's too early to tell if the shorter ones could someday wear an official Wolf Pack jersey. Some were still learning how to dribble.
"Too soon to comment on potential recruits," Alford joked.
But to Alford, a former Indiana Hoosier, NBA player and current respected college coach for more than three decades, starting young is the key to success.
"It's important to learn the skills now," Alford said on the last day of two camps for kids that he and his players -- including new recruit 7-foot-1 Jeriah Coleman — taught.
