Nevada swept the two-game season series with Boise State, but the third matchup has a bit higher stakes.
Nevada opens the Mountain West men's basketball tournament against Boise State at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Nevada coach Steve Alford spoke about the game on his weekly media Zoom call Monday morning,
Nevada is the No. 5 seed and Boise State is No. 4. The Wolf Pack won their two games last month, 74-72 and 73-62.
