Air Force's old-school triple-option offense will test Wolf Pack's run defense

They way Jay Norvell sees it, it might be impossible to completely stop the triple-option offense.

After all, if it was possible to stop, you’d figure the service academies – Navy, Army and Air Force, which each run the offense – would be the schools to figure it out since they practice against it every day.

“It’s amazing,” Norvell said before his team’s matchup Friday with Air Force. “You watch these guys play against Navy, you watch them play against Army and they all run the wishbone and they can’t stop each other.
