Strength will meet strength Friday night at Mackay Stadium.
Visiting Air Force, the nation’s top rushing team, will attempt to make Nevada the latest victim of its dreaded triple-option attack. The Wolf Pack, boasting one of the nation’s top passing offenses, will counter by filling the night sky with thrown footballs.
It’s also Nevada’s final home game of the seasons. For Nevada fans, that means a (likely) final look at quarterback Carson Strong and receivers Romeo Doubs and Cole Turner, all of whom are candidates to turn to professional football when the season ends.
The RGJ’s Duke Ritenhouse is at Mackay Stadium and will provide live updates here.
