After firing head football coach Brian Polian, the Wolf Pack is back on the market for a coach. Here’s a look at 16 coaches who could potentially become the leader of the Nevada football program.
* Chris Ault, unaffiliated: Let’s just get this out of the way. Ault isn’t coming back for a fourth tenure at Nevada. I’m sure he’d be successful if he did, but he’s 70 year old and the Wolf Pack needs to find his true successor eventually. It wouldn’t be the worst thing if Nevada athletic director Doug Knuth at least involved Ault in the process, but he’s looking for a young Ault rather than the original Ault.
