Jake Sueflohn didn't show any signs of rust Sunday at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Sunday in Brookings, South Dakota.
The senior won the 149-pound title in the Husker wrestling team's season-opening tournament. Three of his five wins came via bonus points.
Sueflohn, ranked sixth nationally, missed last season because of an injury.
Six Huskers won individual titles Sunday, and seven others earned spots on the podium.
Eric Montoya (133 pounds), Tyler Berger (157), Dustin Williams (165), Micah Barnes (174) place first in their respective weight divisions, and Tim Lambert and Kris Williams shared the 125-pound hardware.
