It wasn’t the World Championships that they wanted, but I do believe that both Jordan Burroughs and James Green can come home from the World Championships with their heads held high.
Burroughs won his first match via 4-0 decision over France’s Zelimkhan Khadjiev, a Russian transfer. In this second match, Burroughs downed Tajikistan’s Magomet Evloev 4-2 behind a second-period takedown.

Burroughs entered the field as not only the most experienced, but also as the favorite.
