Nebraska women’s basketball coach Connie Yori was quick to credit Maryland’s execution following the Terrapins’ 89-50 win on Thursday night in College Park, Maryland.
But following another slow start and third straight conference defeat, the coach is looking for a return to “Nebraska basketball.”
“This is about us not playing the way we need to be able to play,” Yori said on her postgame radio show. “We’ve got to get back to playing what I call Nebraska basketball. Got to play hard, play smart, play together and then it’s a lot of fun. And right now those three ingredients are not there for us.
