Connie Yori isn’t worried about how her Nebraska women's basketball team could possibly improve after overwhelming North Carolina State on Thursday.
First of all, the Huskers are playing rival Creighton at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
It's a “friendly” rival, said Yori, who coached Creighton for 10 years and played four years for the Bluejays before taking over Nebraska in 2002.
Nebraska (5-1) blasted North Carolina State 88-67 on Thursday with enough highlights to fill a season. Rachel Theriot scored 20 points and had 11 assists for her sixth career double-double, while sophomore guard Natalie Romeo blasted away for 16 points, and three other Huskers scored in double figures.
