If there was a sense of success with how the Nebraska women’s basketball team started the Big Ten Conference season, coach Amy Williams wasn’t feeling it.

In their first conference game of the season on Dec. 28, the Huskers had the game pretty close late against 12th-ranked Ohio State before losing 73-61. That was the Huskers’ first game against a ranked opponent this season.

“To be honest with you, I think they were disappointed,” said Williams, describing the reaction of the players to the result against Ohio State.
