Nebraska women’s basketball coach Connie Yori wishes her team didn’t have so many players sick or injured, and she would prefer if the Huskers played better defense and practiced better.
But one thing Yori has liked this season is the improved play of sophomore guard Natalie Romeo and junior center Allie Havers.
“I think Allie Havers has improved, and I think Natalie Romeo has improved a lot,” Yori said. “I think Allie and Natalie have improved the most of our returners. Natalie is playing at a pretty high level right now, and she’s been able to improve her game and develop on the defensive end and the offensive end.
