After leading the Nebraska volleyball team with 441 kills during a national championship season in 2017 Mikaela Foecke gave her valuable right arm a break during the spring training season after she had some pain in her arm.
She was back crushing kills by the summer, and is doing so again now that the matches matter again for the Huskers. On Saturday Foecke had 15 kills to lead the second-ranked Huskers to a 25-21, 25-21, 26-24 win against No. 18 Oregon, helping Nebraska get its first win of the season after losing the first match against Florida.
“I’m feeling great,” Foecke said.
