"I expect a pretty rowdy bunch ready to play," Husker baseball coach Darin Erstad said Thursday.
No doubt there will be enthusiasm from a team that spent all of Monday and Tuesday and most of Wednesday away from the ballpark to focus on school and the mental gymnastics that come with wrapping up the semester.
That "rowdy bunch" will host Rutgers in the first of a three-game set at 6:35 p.m. Friday at Haymarket Park. Saturday's game is set for a 2:05 p.m. first pitch with Sunday's finale at 12:05 p.m.
