It was a stylish commitment for linebacker Willie Hampton, who made his 10-month-long pledge to Nebraska official Wednesday.
Hampton, from West Palm Beach, Florida, sported a red, white and black Husker bow tie his mother ordered online, along with a black vest and white dress shirt, for his signing ceremony.
He posted a photo of himself in the outfit on Twitter, with the hashtags #huskerswag and #gbr.
Hampton was the first player to commit to Nebraska's 2017 class, pledging in March and quietly never wavering in that commitment despite receiving interest from Michigan and Central Florida.
