The Big Ten Conference announced its men's tennis individual honors on Tuesday afternoon following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 regular season. Nebraska's Nic Wiedenhorn earned the Sportsmanship Award for the Huskers.
Wiedenhorn, a native of Germany, earned the award presented to athletes that demonstrate sportsmanship and citizenship on and off the court. The freshman has a 3-12 singles record and a 3-10 doubles record in his debut season with wins against Iowa, Purdue and Minnesota.
