Jordan Westerkamp emerged from his tryout last week with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without a spot on the team's offseason roster, but with his confidence intact.
That's a good thing, too, because he told the Journal Star via text message that he's headed to Cleveland on Thursday for a tryout at the Browns' rookie minicamp.
He looked "sharp and healthy" in Tampa, according to Bucs beat writer Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.
"Felt great about it," Westerkamp wrote in the text to the Journal Star. "I performed extremely well in Tampa. Just a numbers thing out there right now.
