With six days between games — a rarity during the college basketball season — it gave the Nebraska women’s team some extra time to review its most recent game.
For better, or worse, that was a loss for the Huskers that came with a lot of what-ifs. The Huskers lost last Sunday against Maryland 64-57. It was a great chance for Nebraska to get its best win of the season against the 11th-ranked team in the country.
The game was close, and may have been even closer if the Huskers hadn’t thrown the ball away a few times in the first half, gotten outrebounded 49-29 or rushed so many missed shots.
