They collapsed big time. After Colorado built up a 31-3 early in the 3rd quarter, the Beavers gnawed away at their lead and came all the way back to tie the game. Oregon State scored a touchdown with 29 seconds left but missed the extra point forcing it to OT. The Beavers scored in OT and held off the Buffs to complete the epic comeback.
Oregon State erased a 28-point deficit against Colorado, the 3rd-largest comeback in Pac-12 history. The win snapped the Beavers’ 22-game road losing streak and 13-game conference losing streak, both of which were the longest streaks in the nation.
