Let us not forget the last ten years of bowl games for Nebraska. We have not been in a bowl game since we went 5-7, cheated the bowl system, and barely beat UCLA in 2016. The bowl win before that was the ninety-nine yard throw from Tommy Armstrong against Georgia to win in 2013 in year he took over for Taylor Armstrong at quarterback. The last dominate bowl win was against Arizona in 2009 where our defense blanked them 33-0. We’ve gone two straight years without even going to a bowl game for the first time 1967-1968 seasons under Bob Devaney.
