Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook has some new furniture.
It’s one of the chairs used for the bench at the NCAA Final Four in Omaha. He was excited when he saw the chair had been dropped off at his office last week.
They’re comfortable chairs, he said. The memory associated with that chair is pretty great, too.
Nebraska defeated Texas 3-0 in the national championship match to win the program’s fourth NCAA title, which is tied for third-most. Cook has three NCAA titles in 16 seasons as Nebraska head coach.
This championship was satisfying. There was a bit of negativity about the program in the past year.
