Chris Walker's final destination on the Nebraska football team is uncertain, but he's officially in the fold.
Walker, a Super-State offensive lineman who played both ways for Lincoln East, signed his letter of intent accepting a scholarship from Nebraska Wednesday morning.
"It feels great, yes, sir. I grew up in Nebraska and it's every Nebraska kid's dream," he said. "It's a good feeling. Coach (Mike) Cavanaugh wants me at offensive tackle but at the same time, Coach (Mike) Riley said I'd have the option, if I don't feel comfortable, to switch over. We'll see what happens at camp and where they need me.
