Scott Frost will hit the ground running when he arrives in Lincoln to start his duties as Nebraska football coach.
He has already started putting together his first staff.
Quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco is in. He was already recruiting on Saturday evening, extending an offer to Fresno, California signal-caller Adrian Martinez.
Verduzco was UCF's quarterbacks coach and a young staff's most experienced member with 39 years of college coaching under his belt.
Frost is expected to bring more — maybe many, maybe most — coaches to Lincoln from Central Florida. A source told the Journal Star that at least six UCF assistants will be joining Frost at NU.
