Turner, Page Star in EuroLeague Title Game

Former Huskers Yvonne Turner and Danielle Page put together strong efforts in the EuroLeague Championship Game on Sunday, but their Sopron team came up short in a 72-53 loss to UMMC Ekaterinburg at Novamatic Arena in Hungary on Sunday.

Turner, a 5-8 guard from Omaha, Neb., scored a game-high 21 points while adding three assists, two rebounds and a block for Sopron. In the two EuroLeague Final Four games, Turner averaged 20.0 points per contest.

Page, a 6-2 forward from Monument, Colo., added nine points, a team-high seven rebounds and a block against the powerhouse Ekaterinburg (Russia) team that included WNBA stars Maya Moore, Brittney Griner and Kristi Tolliver.
