Tierra Williams saved her best for last.
The Nebraska junior used final her leap in Friday's long jump finals to bring home a title at the Big Ten Conference Indoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
Williams trailed then-leader Savannah Carson of Purdue by almost three inches, but the Auburn graduate posted a mark of 20 feet, 7¾ inches on her sixth and final jump to win the title.
"I just said a prayer and said ‘This is all or nothing, Tierra. You worked so hard for this, now go get it,'" Williams said.
Williams matched her season-best with the mark and improved upon a fourth-place finish at last year's meet.
