The Nebraska men's 4x400 relay team ran the third-fastest time in school history Saturday to finish fifth at Arkansans' Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville.
The relay team of Cody Rush, Oliver Alexandre, Levi Gipson and Drew Wiseman combined for a time of 3 minutes, 6.96 seconds which is the top time in the Big Ten this indoor season and the eighth-fastest time in the country.
Matt Gilbert ran a personal-best 8:19.03 to finish second in the invitational division of the 3,000-meter run. Nolan Border and Austin Post both ran personal bests to finish second and third, respectively, in the open division of the race.
