As part of the Veterans Day/Military Salute this weekend, the U.S. Marines will be collecting toys for children at Sunday’s season opener against Sacramento State.
Husker fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game, and cash donations for the cause will also be accepted. The Marines will be stationed near the entrances of Pinnacle Bank Arena to accept donations that will brighten the holiday season for needy children.
