Wide receiver Samori Toure became the third Nebraska player selected in the 2022 NFL Draft on Saturday when he was picked by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round. The 6-3, 190-pound Toure was the No. 258 overall pick in the draft.
Toure joined Cam Jurgens (2nd Round, Philadelphia) and Cam Taylor-Britt (2nd Round, Cincinnati) as Huskers selected in this year's NFL Draft. Nebraska's three selections are the most for the Huskers since having four players chosen in the 2016 NFL Draft.
A Portland, Ore., native, Toure is the first Nebraska receiver selected in the NFL Draft since Kenny Bell was picked in the fifth round in 2015.
