Before we start, let me just apologize for last week’s “shoddy” first attempt at doing this. It genuinely reeked of “noob”. That’s why practice makes perfect. Try, fail, adjust, succeed. As a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, I really forgot to follow former manager Joe Madden’s most cherished slogan, “Try not to suck”. But, if you can’t laugh at yourself, then what’s the damn point? I’ve never been shy of acting like a horse’s ass for entertainment, for it is the simple things I cherish. So to that end, I’ve decided to end each of my future Thursday Flakes articles with a joke.
