The PG Version: Parker Gabriel's extra points from Huskers-Boilermakers

Nebraska football writer Parker Gabriel offers his extra points from Nebraska's 25-24 win over Purdue on Saturday night at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Turning point: When the Blackshirts took the field with 3:44 remaining, the Boilermakers didn’t want to give the ball back. After two D.J. Knox runs for 12 yards, it didn’t look like they would. But the Huskers got off the field in three more plays, setting up Tanner Lee’s big moment.

It was over when: Tanner Lee and Stanley Morgan read a Boilermakers’ Cover 2 coverage the same way. Morgan ran a post to the goal line and Lee put a perfect throw on the junior for the game-winning touchdown.
